My experiences as a contributor to Daddys Giveaway - Part 2

Well it has been about 22 hours so I thought I would review how this event is going so far. I have just doubled the size of my list! Even though for most of the day, my gift contribution has appearing towards the end of the 32 current pages. Unfortunately something querky happened with my autoresponder and some of my subscribers' gift links removed themselves from the emails. I have only had one person unsubscribe so far so hopefully I got it fixed in time. I provided a space for subscribers to optionally provide me with their mailing addresses when they sign up to receive my gift conttribution. So far 38% of my subscribers have trusted me with that information. The lastest stats from Odinn Sorensen's Daddys Birthday Giveaway - Celebrate with Odinn on his 40th birthday! Total members: 1231.
Total gifts: 377. Approved: 311.
Last updated: 2009-02-18 12:25:04 (GMT) So far I have only been able to download and review 2 gifts. There are some real gems I was looking at purchasing I definately want to go back for. Even thought there are 13 days to go I am certainly impressed so far. If all I come away with this from is free branding and marketing to the current 1231 members - this experience of contributing to a giveaway event is proving to be worthwhile.
